Sun was out so I thought I would have one last pop up to Marwell this year, and spent some time at the otter enclosure as normal, love to watch them play and esp like to see them playing with stones, amazing how they do this wild or captive just the same..
Always try to visit the zoo when I come to Delhi, that said, it is not the best of Zoo`s, I think it must suffer from massive underfunding, its in a bit of a run down state in places. But that said, the animals always look healthy, and there is oddly enough a very good selection of non zoo creatures here, kites being one of the best examples. But visitors to the zoo, I am sure judging by the look on many visitors faces always love a visit. The beauty of any zoo is that it show`s animals that we just would not normally see or maybe ever hope to see, as some are now so rare, they are only really seen in this environment. Saying that, Delhi has a general collection of animals in it`s enclosures, many are now shut off though.
Some shooting suggestion`s from Nikon which seemed to make a lot of sense to me on you tube, so I have popped them here . There are two videos, one covers shooting at Zoo`s something I do quite often, and the other on architecture photography, both favs of mine, suggestions on here are good. Will take a little while to stream if your on a slow connection.

Added a page with a collection of short clawed otter shots taken at Marwell Zoo on the weekend of 05/05/08, quite nice as it shows the otters paying with stones, but on top of that, it is a newer version of JAlbum my page writing program, and it has Piclens support written into it, if you don`t have piclens its a great little program, it displays a wall of graphic images from the thumbnails you select to view, great viewing.
